The low-temperature plywood drying kiln independently developed by Alva Woodworking Machinery Company has completed installation and commissioning and has been officially put into production. The drying kiln is based on heat
pump dehumidification and drying technology, combined with PLC automatic control system, to create energy-saving, efficient and precise professional solutions for plywood drying.
The main body of the drying kiln adopts a double-layer polyurethane sandwich insulation board structure, and its thermal conductivity is ≤0.024W/(m・K), which can effectively reduce heat loss and ensure the stability of the temperature
and humidity environment in the kiln. The internal configuration of the circulating fan unit builds a horizontal and vertical staggered hot air circulation system, and the wind speed is accurately controlled at 2-3m/s, ensuring that the
temperature field uniformity deviation in the kiln is ≤±2℃, and the humidity field deviation is ≤±3%RH, providing a uniform and stable environment for plywood drying.
The core heat source adopts a two-stage compression variable frequency heat pump unit with a heating performance coefficient (COP) ≥4.5. Compared with the traditional steam drying method, the energy saving efficiency exceeds 50%,
and it can stably achieve the low-temperature drying process requirements of -5℃ to 60℃, which is suitable for the drying requirements of plywood of different materials and specifications.
The control system is equipped with a temperature and humidity sensor matrix to monitor the data of 16 points in the kiln in real time, and automatically adjust the heat pump power, dehumidification fan frequency and fresh air supply
with the help of PID algorithm. It supports custom programming drying curves, can accurately match different tree species such as poplar and eucalyptus, and drying processes with different slab thicknesses of 3-25mm, and accurately
adjust the moisture content of plywood from t
