![]() | Product Introduction |
This series of log rounder rollers are the core components of the log rounding process, specially designed for 2ft, 4ft, 8ftand other specifications of woodworking log rounders. The roller surface is processed with precision milling to create wolf-tooth-shaped tooth patterns, and undergoes chrome plating and quenching treatment, providing high hardness, wear resistance and impact resistance.
The tooth arrangement and angle of the roller are optimized to enable uniform, damage-free roller pressing and rounding of curved and small-diameter logs, ensuring smooth blanks with regular dimensions. This provides a stable base material for subsequent veneer peeling processes, effectively increasing veneer yield.
Customization of tooth profile, diameter and length is available to meet the needs of different log materials and production lines, making it a key wear-resistant component for modern wood processing lines.

The steel rollers are forged from high-carbon alloy steel or chromium-manganese steel. After quenching and tempering, their surface hardness reaches HRC55-60. Even with long-term processing of hardwoods (such as oak and walnut) with diameters of 30-200mm. This fundamentally eliminates processing defects such as "ovality" and "eccentricity" in the wood caused by roller deformation, and the roundness error of the finished product is controlled within 0.5mm.
The steel rollers feature a spiral or staggered tooth pattern, with precision-ground teeth for exceptional sharpness and unobstructed chip chutes. They simultaneously perform the triple functions of "extrusion, cutting, and rounding," reducing the processing time per log by 20% to 30% compared to conventional steel rollers. They are suitable for conveying speeds of 15 to 30 meters per minute, meeting the demands of mass production.
The steel roller diameter (150-400mm), length (500-2000mm) and tooth density can be fully and flexibly customized according to the exact diameter of the wood to be processed (10-300mm) and the material (hardwood/softwood), adapting to the diverse and specific processing needs of different products such as round logs, mop poles, furniture legs, pavilion columns and other round wood products in various production scenarios.
